Noticed that the folks at Halx were selling these modules at a discounted price on eBay. Hooked one up yesterday and was pleased to see that they work fine with the BBSB codes from the HAH.

Yep mee too

Have 3 and 2 of the 12V ones.

also i bought some "stick" on light switches so SWMBO can at least switch lights on without using iPhone or joggler.

bit of a pain as you have to switch them on/off (or off/on) from joggler to get control back, but it keeps here happy :)

Keeping in sync

I'd given this a bit of thought a while back. Two possible solutions came to mind:

1. Use a roomNode to detect whether the light is actually on (or not) and adjust the state on the endpoint (and thus the Joggler) appropriately.

2. Use the RF receiver to pick up the signal from the 'stick on' switch and feed this info into the HAH. Then have a script to turn on/off whatever you require.

The never ending quest for 'happy SWMBO' continues ...

Derek.
