Hello,

Was trying to upgrade today, still running 306 with the old pachube.

But i cant login via SSH.

Tried everything:
root/admin
root/password
root/
admin/root
admin/
admin/password
Root/admin
Admin/root

What else can i try? is there a way to reset the SSH password?

Cant remember i ever changed it.

Is access enabled?

Did you enable SSH or TELNET via the web GUI first?

http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/webserver#networkservices

By default this should be on but you should check how its set.

Default username password is root/admin if SSH is failing try TELNET.

I treid both already. It asks

I treid both already.

It asks for username and then password.

Both telnet and SSH, after 7 attempts it closses the connection.

So there is not the problem.

Could it be that the ethernet cable is in the yellow slot and not the red one?

The cable isn't the issue as

The cable isn't the issue as you are getting prompted for login details.

Its asking for the username password but you can't get in !?
Did you expose your unit on the internet using the default password?  BAD.
Perhaps somebody has loggged in and changed them on you in which case you are locked out.

Do you still have web gui access?   You never answered that question.
If the root password has been changed you can hack your way back in use the backup/restore functionality of the web gui.

It might have been exposed.I

It might have been exposed.

I was able to acces it from outside my own network.

I do have GUI acces. And already made a backup of my settings.
I looked at the file quickly and couldnt find something usefull.

Please tell me the trick.

Download the attachment and

Download the attachment and RESTORE this file using your web gui.  What it will do is replace just the /etc/passwd file on your livebox back to its default.  Then you should be able to log back in with root/admin.

I would strongly urge you to never use a simple/default password and expose your hah onto internet.
