Up to a point

These 'Status' brand have been available in Asda at £5 for 3 units. I have decoded these with the ('soon to be released' - but taking time to get there) Universal RF system for the HAH.

However, there is a significant 'downside' to these units. If power is removed from a unit for >30secs, or so, then the 'training' exercise need to be redone.

This is far from ideal. Most sockets feature some sort of EEPROM to remember the pairing across power outages or relocations of the unit.

In terms of reliability, the Home Easy parts seem to be the best. Lidl units are also very stable in operation.

Hope this helps.

Derek.

Home Easy rebrand?

Maybe of interest ..

While searching for (where to buy) Euro versions of supported Lidl/HE/BBSB sockets I have found Swedish Nexa that I can buy locally.
Most Nexa items are very similar to HE - one is others rebrand?

Very similar in appearance to HE

Yes. These parts do look to be re-badged HE parts. The LYCRA-1000  is very close in form and factor to the HE302S.

Do let us know if you get these working.

Cheers,
Derek.

Nexa works as HomeEasy

Tried Nexa PB-3 sockets today and can confirm that yes! they do work with HE codes.
