OK I'm new so I expect I will be asking lots of dumb questions. So here is my first.

Is there a guide anywhere to what the 5 lights on the top of the box are for / represent?

I don't think so

The LEDs are important during the reflashing process on the Livebox ... in that you must hold down button 1 until only the middle three LEDs are illuminated.

Apart from that, I don't generally look at them (in that my HAH is hidden away in the basement).

There is an option on the UI to suppress the LED activity - I'm not sure if this disables them entirely. Also, I do recall a busybox command that can control the LEDs.

If light one is nearest the

If light one is nearest the end, in normal operation 1 is blinking fast and 3 is on solid. Last night my box stopped uploading to COSM again (2nd time) at 01.43. This morning the middle light was blinking sporadically. I wondered if this was some kind of sign of a problem?

I pulled the plug and restarted it and its uploading again now.

Hi,In another thread i think

Hi,

In another thread i think you asked about logging, another mechanism you 'can' use to see if the pachube binary is processing serial data is to capture the xAP messages on another host (pachube HB). That way you could at least see if the pachube process is getting data from other processes, and putting it out on the wire. However i seem to remember that if the upload fails the pachube process may not recover, but that was only a vague recollection - i'm not near any code.
