...any plans to activate this?

Also I think this board has Bluetooth onboard, is it possible to activate this?

Just out of interest...

Cheers

It does have bluetooth

PCMCIA - All the drivers are for this are in /lib/modules/2.4.17/kernel/drivers/pcmcia
Use insmod to load them into the kernel.

I've not played with ANY pcmcia devices so I don't know if they will work or not.  Maybe.

BLUETOOTH - Its a matter of getting all the right drivers together, I did have a play with this a while back but ended up just spinning my wheels and not getting to far, so I put it on the back burner.

WI-FI - The livebox also has Wi-Fi but by default it only runs in Server mode, and the supplied tools are cripplied such that you can't turn it into a wi-fi client.  Its is something I would also like to get working.

PCMCIA

(People Can't Memorise Computer Industry Acronyms). I've never plugged in a PCMCIA card either. I do know that some, older, Livebox units don't actually have the PCMCIA socket fitted.

The 'killer facility' would be to have the onboard WiFi work in Client mode. Just imagine it - a HAH that doesn't need a fixed ethernet cable!

That said, it's a seriously non-trivial piece of work to get this looked at.

Derek.
