Hi all,

Had a good search but couldnt find how, im hoping to run the xAPFlash.swf application locally on my Joggler with a 12.10 Unbuntu build
even with all the xml and image files in the same location the swf displays partial, tried copying all files into same location as joggler i.e media\appshop\xap and usr\share\flash
any suggestions??

p.s i dont want to run via a web browser, my aim was to just use an SWF viewer and keep all files local.

thanks

xapflash on a Joggler running Ubunutu

Andrew,

Installation on the joggler with its standard OS is straight forward.

Ref: http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/xapflash#xapflash_installation

However I've never tried to run xAPFLash on a Joggler Ubuntu build, it should be possible and it should work, but I've never done it so I can't advise as to what the catches might be.

Thanks Brett,Beta 5 all

Thanks Brett,

Beta 5 all running fine on the standard Joggler image (i have 2 jogglers)

the other Joggler i run Ubuntu as its primary function is a media controller (XBMC / Squeezplay) - anyhow problem solved i just created a shortcut to my HAH / flash/xAPFlash.swf

its not running the SWF direct from Ubuntu as i first wanted but negates the need to display the xAPFlash GUI via a web browser and instead via an SWF viewer so same end result

thanks
