Hi,

I bought a cable from currentcost to connect my currentcost classic to the livebox. In xFx I get a heartbeat but thats about it, occasionally I get a info message but only once when I reboot. I used microcom to check that the livebox was actually recieving data from the current cost and this is what I got:

xøxxxxøxxxxxxøøxxxxøxxxøøxøxxxøxøxøxxøøøxxøxøxøxøxxxxxøxøøxøxxxxøx

with a couple of extra line being added about every second. Is this to be expected?

Baud rate

This looks like baud rate issue - the Classic Gen2 uses 9600 baud.  The ENVI uses 57600.

# microcom -s 9600 /dev/ttyUSB0

Make sure you have the right model selected!

I tried both baud rates just

I tried both baud rates just to be sure, 9600 has extra lines being added every second, 57600 just has the first line of 0's and x's

CC blues

How about trying to take the HAH out of the testing loop? Just plug your CC USB cable into a Windows PC. Fire up hyperterminal and see what you get. If it doesn't show a legible XML feed on a PC, it won't work with the HAH either.

Is your CC Classic an older unit?

I've read of (but never seen) a CC Classic unit that uses 2400baud. Mine uses 9600. Do try 2400 (and perhaps even 1200). You will know as soon as you see a decent feed.

If 2400 or 1200 works for you, let us know & we can add support for this.

Derek.

It appears I have a relic

I tried at 2400 baud this morning and I now have xml. Support for 2400 would be much appreciated.

Relics will be supported

... in the next release of the HAH firmware.
