Xively Personal, end of the road.
Just received an email from Xively explaining that Logmein is retiring Xively Personal, see extract from their email below.
"After careful consideration, LogMeIn has made the decision to retire Xively Personal from its current line of products effective January 15, 2018 at 12:00PM ET . Please note that LogMeIn will continue to offer our Xively Enterprise edition – there is no change to that edition and we will continue to support that platform as part of our IoT business."
I have used Xively for a number of years and have found it exstremly useful especially in detecting problems on my HAH setup.
I have tried to locate the pricing for their enterprise setup but to no avail, I may consider this if it is not to expensive.
Hopefully there will be an alternative that HAH would be able to use.
Have a great christmas and new year.

update.
Others have also been working on this:

I think that as written this script only downloads half a days data because it does 2 six hour chunks starting at midnight and therefore finishing at noon. If you want a whole days data you need to add in two more six hour chunks for noon and 18:00 hours. But at least it will recover your data for use when xively disappears.

There is a plugin applet that allows you to aggregate your data into Graphite and plot graphs etc.
http://www.dbzoo.com/livebox/graphite
This works pretty well.
I also posted an applet to upload and create charts with thingspeak. I have used this to migrate across to them for now and it's working pretty well

I can attest to it's usefulness, it's been uploading my data for almost a year now!
On a different subject are you still using Mote? The latest update constantly crashes on my iPhone 5S making it virtually unusable.
... Got thingspeak working. All the old documentation coming out - and reading on line stuff on plugboard. Expected to take ages but 1) changed one feed to align with my CurrentCost feed 2) registered with thingspeak, got the Write API Key and put that in. 3) stuck it into one of my liveboxes and ssh'd and hit xap-plugboard .... and it worked. I have properly rebooted now 'cos there were possibly duplicate processes. Very good.
This stuff was clearly ahead of its time and is suffering now because it is not fashionable. esp-8266's are ok but their power consumption is rubbish compared with jeenodes going for a year on three AA's.
I liked the idea of using Graphite but would have needed to run it in the cloud to avoid power consuming servers at home, and allowing easy remote access when abroad.
Meanwhile thanks for giving me something to keep things going when Xively dies - for now I have both!

Yes, looks like it might be the end of it. I have been uploading data to Thingspeak as suggested by someone on here a while ago. It's less flexible than xively and a real pain with iPads but at least it sort of works. Currently trying to figure out how to recover several years worth of data from xively before it all disappears. Such is the downside of cloud computing!
