A minor irritation rather than anything greater, but recently when ssh-ing into one of my boxes, there is a delay of about a minute before the login is possible. It's not a major problem but my iPhone webssh app times out before I get to log in, though I can log in from a laptop or desktop on the network.

My other box works fine. I don't know what I've done to make this happen but any suggestions would be welcome.

I have an odd issue where my xAP messages have all but stopped.

Only when I enable the pluginboard do I get a few heartbeats and then that seems to stop too.

I'm using 314/3.4 on Livebox.  Not sure when this happened as most of my functionality has stopped but I had just decided to get RF plugs and Jogglers backup and running and was trying to debug, when I noticed it.

Hi I found a problem when I try to delete a Xively feed on the HAH. I currently have 14 feeds.

Example If you try to delete say your 8th feed. Your last feed is deleted and your 8^th feed is renamed to your 9^th feed, then you have a duplication of the 9^th feed.

I hope this makes sense.

I've decided to have a go at running both my boxes simultaneously on my network to allow me to fiddle with one while letting the other run the heating without causing grief.

I've set the second box with the hostname 'deadbox' and allocated a static ip and changed the mac of eth0 and eth1 on the management page. On the instance page I've changed the UID's of twitter, livebox and plugboard from 00XX to 11XX. I had expected the UID of xap messages from the second box to change to 11XX but this doesn't seem to have happened.

Does anyone use the sample script for determining sunrise/sunset?

I've installed this script into my plugboard directory to implement sunset light switching as an alternative to the IFTTT + twitter version which I have used up to now.

I've changed the Lat/Long to (roughly) my home location and set it running. I've calculated the sunrise/sunset times and also referenced them from wuderground:

I noticed this when trying to debug the failure of my annual Cron automation of Christmas lights.  I don't think that I've done anything to break it as I rarely go beyond the web interface, but as I'm a complete novice anything's possible...

Command line attempts to control RF switch are ignored.  I've tried
bscmsg -t dbzoo.livebox.controller:rf.1 -s on
and
aliasmsg "rf 1 on"

So, the pneumatic 'press to flush' system on the toilet stopped working. It wasn't the pushbutton part that compresses the air, but the expensive and hugely inaccessible valve affair. Thoughts of plumbers and general inconvenience filled my head with gloom.

Had a look at the broken part - all it did was raise a plastic rod (that presumably just covers the water outlet at the bottom of the cistern). Then I recalled some low voltage solenoids that were stashed in the basement.

Not strictly an HAH question but does anyone else have problems with the Current Cost temperature output?

This is my CC temp output for today and not for the first time it fluctuated wildly (playing havoc with the central heating control) until I noticed it and power cycled the unit.

It doesn't happen very frequently but enough to be a minor issue.
