Twitter issue

in

Hi all,

my twitter appears to have stopped working. Tried re-authorising (which was successfully) but still no joy.

debug showing URL returned 410 error? Anyone else? Is this a twitter issue?

thanks

Garry

EDIT: just read that twitter ApI v1 deprecated june11th. Is this the reason?

Cacti

in

Hi all,

thinking out loud here due to the annoyance of pachube/cosm rebranding issues.

I would like to have access to charts or varying time scales via mobile devices, this has apparently been removed from xively as far as I can tell.

from the bit of googling I have done today I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on the following? I can't see why this isn't possible.

roomnode moved & lobat endpoints on the xAPFlash Joggler app

in

Does anyone here use either the moved or lobat endpoints with the joggler xAPFlash applet?

having trouble in getting them to display the values, in the pachube tab i have the "key" setup as state as opposed to text, this seems to work fine for cosm - https://cosm.com/feeds/94428

the endpoints are setup as follows

dbzoo.livebox.jeenode:bedroom2.moved

dbzoo.livebox.jeenode:bedroom2.lobat

snippet on my button value for the moved endpoint

xapflash wiki example

in

Forgive the Xapflash question but it does really relate to the example in the HAH wiki.

I am using the O2 slider for thermostat setting and get the slider displayed as per the attachment.

I would really like this to not have the volume icons as per the example on the wiki but cannot work out how to do this. any pointers anyone?

thanks,

Garry

Cron question

in

I have just started using Cron with the livebox after struggling with googlecal reliability.

I have used Cron in the past (back in the days of looking after a few VAX VMS machines) and thought I understood the syntax (it's not difficult) or so I thought.

To me this line

00 10 * * 6-7 aliasmsg "thermostat 19.0"

means that an alias message wil be sent to set the thernostat to 19.0 on Saturday and Sunday at 10am

So why did my heating fire up at 19.0 at 10am today, Friday?

GoogleCal or cron

in

What are others feelings on whether to use googlecal or cron to control events.

I'm trying to use googlecal to control thermostat settings for the heating but I'm having problems getting reliable alias events. I do get them but only a few times a day. I've been trying to see a pattern but not identified one yet.

energyNode

in

The Current cost unit has it's limitations.......

Major.. it's not a true power monitor, it's USB based so the unit has to be connected to the HAH and what is the displayed info all about...

This unit is Jeenode 'ish' based, has an active forum..........   http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/Modules  So intergration should be simple ! ... some months ago I played with a vero board arduino version I logged to via a pc via real time Voltage, Amps, Power, PF, real power etc. ! , just ordered the shield version RFM12B and display.

Gas monitoring?

in

Hi All,

Im currently running my CC Envir with the CT Clamp for Electric and it seems to work fairly well despite the 6 second updates, now on to the next phase as it were....

Gas monitoring, i've seen various websites (links below) that talk of modifying an optial sensor with a reed or hall effect switch etc

my question is should i use a CC dev board using one of the spare CC channels importing that data into the HAH/Pachube i can also monitor the data from the CC display

or.... is it possible and better to use a roomnode and some clever scripting?

thanks

Pachube issues?

in

Hi all,

im having some issues setting up Pachube with my feed at https://cosm.com/feeds/94428

Does everything below look ok? i noticed the setup for Pachube is different to the wiki and includes the feed column on each datastream line

i guess this needs to be set as per the main feed ID?

obviously the API key is removed for posting this screenshot :)

am i possibly missing the correct setup at the Cosm end?

thanks
